Local fresh flowers grown and harvested in Schwenksville, PA
Family lore
The previous owner of this property was a pillar in the neighborhood we enjoyed as kids in the late 80’s and through the 2000’s. She was a seamstress who sewed & mended clothing for what seemed like everyone within a 10 mile radius. She taught us to mind our business, work hard (never told us to, but lead by example) and to treat everyone as family. You may have known her as Grandmom or Mrs. Weirman.
I finally surrendered to the nagging dream I’ve had to grow & sell cut flowers (again. We did this in the late 80’s when I was a young girl) last year. In addition to the countless sunflowers and trusty asparagus we have planted in the field over the past 10 years, I (Grandmom’s youngest and likely most spoiled grandchild) dug my hands and hand tools into the earth and researched and listened to those who had more experience and tried my hand at growing stock, snapdragons, zinnias, ranunculus, gladiolus, sweet peas.
My boys and I built a roadside stand to start selling at the end of June.
This year, I have BIG goals to expand (now that we know what we can do on a wing & a prayer). When I say “we”, there’s always a family member stepping in with all forms of help, but mostly this is a 1 lady show with 2 young sons as sidekicks who like to “help” with the fun stuff like driving tractors.

Picked with love
We do our own flower picking and we put together bunches and bouquets to sell at the roadstand. We choose what we grow based on demand from previous experience, but also what attracts our local pollinators.
If we don’t have snippers in hand for cutting, we have a phone or camera in hand as we attempt to capture the beauty of our flowers, bees, butterflies & bugs.
“From start to finish, working with Zulima was pleasant and stress free. The florals for the wedding were perfect and beyond what we could have imagined.”
